Haq Story Studios is a full-service multimedia production house specializing in nonfiction storytelling. We collaborate with companies and creatives to produce podcasts, documentaries and digital media rooted in journalism and narrative science.

Founded by award-winning journalist and producer Omar Mouallem, Haq (the Arabic word for truth) brings together story development, editorial strategy, audio production, video production and post-production under one roof. Our work spans nationally recognized podcasts, feature documentaries and long-form journalism, with a focus on stories that deepen understanding, challenge assumptions and connect people to the issues shaping their communities.

From our purpose-built studio in downtown Edmonton — designed for conversational and narrative podcasting, video interviews and multi-guest recording — to field production on location, we support projects at every stage of the storytelling process.
