Black Diamonds asks who owns the wealth beneath Indigenous land. Alberta journalist Danielle Paradis and Oklahoma writer Russell Cobb follow oil’s movement through two different systems of dispossession — and the people fighting to reclaim authority over land and natural resources.

 The series crosses jurisdictions, histories and reporting traditions. Haq Story Studios manages production for the series, working closely with the hosts on editorial development and scripting, recording studio narration and interviews, overseeing post-production and delivering finished episodes for release. That collaboration gives the hosts room to report and write while maintaining a consistent production spine across the limited series — from the first structural decisions to the final episode files.
