Commissioned to mark Pitbull Energy Services’ 20th anniversary, this character-driven branded documentary tells the unlikely story of founder Sami Hayek, who immigrated to Canada from Lebanon at 14 and built an energy services company from a single vacuum truck.

Rather than offer a conventional corporate history, the film follows Pitbull through the 2015 market crash, when its revenue was cut in half and the company came close to collapse, revealing how that experience reshaped its approach to growth, resilience and responsibility.

Haq Story Studios wrote, produced and directed the documentary, connecting Sami’s immigrant journey to the values Pitbull carries today: investing in its workforce, creating more stable employment, and training hundreds of workers—many of them newcomers to Canada — for careers in the energy industry.
